Academy - Junior
Welcome back juniors! Your 2011-2012 school year promises to be exciting as we build on the skills and concepts from freshmen and sophomore year. This year you will continue to build your high school transcript by taking at least two AP courses: AP Language and Composition and AP U.S. History. You will explore Arts and Humanities embedded in your Social Studies and English classes, and continue your development in Foreign Language, Math and Science. During this school year it is important to maintain a strong GPA and to continue to build your résumé as we prepare for the college admissions process. This is traditionally the most challenging year of high school so it is extremely important to maintain strong organization and study skills.

Extracurricular Activities
Participation in extracurricular activities is a highly recommended part of the high school experience. While many opportunities are co-curricular such as orchestra, band, etc…, most of the opportunities for students involve after school commitments. During the school year the best way to stay connected to clubs, sports and organizations is by listening to the morning announcements.
